After updating my development M4 Mac Mini to the first public release of Golden Gate (macOS 27.0) I’m pleased to report that Expert Controller Plus appears to work well and that macOS 27.0 doesn’t appear to have broken anything.

Expert Controller Plus v1.0.2 works with macOS 27.0

This year Apple has reduced the radius of window corners returning to a more rectangular look. It has also provided us with greater control over the transparency of Liquid Glass with a slider that ranges between transparent and non-transparent. Personally I prefer the non-transparent setting but Expert Controller Plus continues to look great with the more rectangular corners and whatever transparency level is selected.

Below is the LED Panel window from macOS 27 and macOS 26. In this side-by-side comparison the more rectangular appearance and the changes to Liquid Glass in macOS 27 are recognisable. Note: I have purposely chosen not to label them!
