Overview
Expert Controller Plus is an Apple macOS app. It provides all the capabilities of its predecessor, Expert Controller, but it also supports multiple simultaneous amplifier connections and supports all SPE Expert amplifiers including the Expert 1K-FA Series II and III.
Some key features are:

- Modbus TCP support for TCP/IP relay management
- Expert 1K-FA support
- SPE CO1-2 support (Power combiner)
- Resizable LCD windows
- Multiple amplifier views including LCD only, Buttons only, Gauges, LCD only.
Amplifiers may be assigned to one or more groups to ease the operation of multiple amplifiers. Using Groups, Expert Controller Plus also supports the simultaneous operation of amplifiers using RF Combiner’s such as the SPE CO1-2.
Description
Expert Controller Plus provides the capability to manage the configuration and control of multiple connected SPE Expert 1K-FA Series II and III, 1.3K-FA, 1.5K-FA, 1.5K-Taurus or 2K-FA RF amplifiers using a USB, RS-232 or TCP/IP interfaces.

Expert Controller Plus is a complete redesign of the successful Expert Controller application with a focus on managing multiple simultaneous amplifier connections whilst retaining much of the ‘look and feel’ of Expert Controller and of Expert amplifiers. Key capabilities such as Accessibility have been retained and enhanced to further improve usability and there is now a new dedicated ‘Announce’ window to request audible amplifier status reports. The ‘original’, Expert Controller window presenting the LCD display along with control buttons has been retained and enhanced; additional more compact windows containing only LED’s, only Buttons and only the LCD are also available for those who prefer a more minimalistic view of their amplifiers. LCD windows are also now resizable. The ability to ‘float’ a window above other macOS windows has also been extended to the new ‘Announce’ window and all windows that present a view of an amplifier.
Requirements
- macOS 14 or later
- A USB/Serial interface supported by macOS or
- A TCP/IP network connection to a network/serial adapter that is connected to a supported amplifier.

- SPE Expert 1.3K-FA
- SPE Expert 1.5K-FA
- SPE Expert 1.5K-Taurus
- SPE Expert 2K-FA.
